Beginning October 17, 1998 the San Antonio area of Texas became the focus of
great flooding. A narrow weather pattern piped mosture from a hurricane in the
Pacific Ocean across Mexico and dumped it in the central part of the United
States. Some areas received more than 20 inches of rain. These are some
